Berkeley Kite Festival – 2010

Every year on the last weekend of July, I-80 and University Ave in Berkeley, CA become extremely busy and crowded. All because of Annual Berkeley Kite Festival.

Hundreds of kites – all different shapes, sizes and colors. Some of them can be seen from across the San-Francisco Bay (because they are so huge). Hundreds (if not thousands) of adults, kids, dogs… and everybody is looking up – either watching their own kite fly, or enjoying  team performances with multiple kites flying to the music.
