So far I’ve been shooting (=taking pictures) in natural light. I really like it, I like shadows, shades and different color of the light during day. I like the flexibility of putting my subject \ model in front or on the side of the light source (=sun). I like the natural looking surroundings, backgrounds – whether it’s a backyard in San-Francisco East Bay, or Tilden Park in Berkeley hills, or Emeryville downtown (or IKEA :)).
But I also don’t want to stand still and do all the same settings over and over again.
So when my friend Lana asked, if I want to accompany her for her Studio Photography Shoot, I couldn’t pass up that opportunity :) I wanted to go and see how other photographer work in the studio settings and lighting. I was also hoping to get a chance to take pictures there myself :)
And I did! :) Here are the results:

Yes, I had a lot of fun, it was really interesting to see how other photographer works and just to have an access to the studio :)
But most of all – Lana’s posing skills are just Fantastic! :) So hooray for her! :)
